At Evanaa, we believe the words of Francis of Assisi for an artist, who has said as below

“He who works with his hands is a laborer.
He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman.
He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.”

If you think the above words, we would feel it i true. An artist is a person who has to work with his soul and heart to make an art. Only if he do so the final product will be awesome.

An artist is the one who keeps this in mind and work. An artist should not work to earn money alone, an artist is the one who works for his satisfaction. There is a famous story that emphasis the satisfactory work which is described below.

“There was kingdom, in which the King wanted to build a temple and he has given the work to a well known sculptor. The sculptor was working day and night to finish the construction on time. The main idol making task was given to a old man, the old man was making the task with devotion and all the task were about to complete well before the target date. At that time the old man who was making the main deity noticed that that there was small hole in the idol which was to be placed on the top of the temple. Knowing that he went straight tot the main sculptor and informed, but he not even bothered about it. Seeing that the old man went to the King and complained about it, the King also first denied it and said it was a small idol which was to be placed only at the top, it won’t be noticed by anyone and so let it be and we shall work on completion of the other works and celebrate the construction of the temple. But the old man was stubborn and said, I won’t allow my main deity which I did to be placed in the temple, if the temple has issues, he also added that everyone should work for perfection and should work for the self satisfaction, only then they will be happy and also the work will be completed correctly. Hearing this the King and the chief sculptor felt very bad and they told the old man sorry and re worked on the wrong idol. All including the old man was very happy on the Mahotsava day”
