Crafting is a art that makes you feel refreshed  and keeps you engaged and active always. There is a proverb that ‘An empty mind is the dwelling place of devil’, if anyone don’t need to be empty minded, start doing some crafting work, then your mind will always be the place for angels. You will feel happy that you are able to create a product for others to use or to wear.

I have seen many people craft the idol of Lord Ganesh in different forms. Lord Ganesha is our model who can be crafted as simple as possible and also as rich as possible. He is not bound to any limits. As same as that crafting is also not limited to any boundaries.

As crafting is not limited, the materials used to craft is also not limited, you can use the material of your choice it may be simple thread to iron rod. Any material can be used to create the craft items. Currently many house woman are crafting using silk thread and making silk thread jewelries, it is now the fashion among the youngsters and also the old ladies. As the ornaments made using silk thread is more attractive and gorgeous to wear but the price is cheap compared to the ornaments made with gold.

Why do we craft?

Most of us craft out of love for creation. Some of us craft to give life to our idea. Among these many of us craft to make money. But none of the crafters will craft out of love on money. If you craft your idea with love then the crafted item will surely earn you the money you need.

Are you lazy?

If you are lazy, stop a while think what to like, start doing the one you like. Then no one will call you lazy anymore. But don’t say I like sleeping and start sleeping all the time, then you will be lazy always, none can do anything for you. Simple craft ideas

Try with simple craft ideas of the thing you like the most, if you like God, don’t try creating a God idol in the beginning. Take a photo of the God, try to make it as stand with a simple technique. Just paste the photo on a card board with some glue and make support with the same cardboard for the glued photo, it will become photo stand. Then try to decorate it. You will be surprised with your first craft.
